Need crisis line provides emotional support, crisis intervention services, emergency mental health services and community resource information to callers. It has 2 toll free lines, the 24 hour hotline and youth line. 24 hour Hotline: 1-866-386-6323 Support available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Youth Line: 250-386-TALK (8255) The Youth Line is staffed by youth, for youth, and is available from 4pm - 10pm, 7 days a week. Kids Help Line 310-1234 (no area code is needed) This is a 24 hour helpline for children and youth who are being hurt. A child protection worker will answer the phone. If you are calling from a pay-phone, call the operator "0" and they will connect you for free. Women's Sexual Assault Centre 250-383-3232 This is a 24 Hour Crisis & Information Line that provides information and emotional support for anyone (male or female) who has experienced sexual violence. Youth can come from any area of South Vancouver Island and must be attending school or day program.
